Hanne Christensen, Arlene Wilkie & Francesca Romana Pezzella: Stroke Action Plan for Europe (Part 1)
In conjunction with the European Stroke Organisation (ESO), we had the pleasure of meeting with Prof. Hanne Christensen (Chair, Stroke Action Plan for Europe), Arlene Wilkie (Co-Chair, Stroke Action Plan for Europe), and Dr Francesca Romana Pezzella (Co-Chair, Stroke Action Plan for Europe) to discuss the Stroke Action Plan for Europe (SAP-E), a pan-European project, setting the implementation of evidence-based preventive actions and stroke services until 2030, outlined by the European Stroke Organisation (ESO) in cooperation with the Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE).
The discussion highlights the goals of the action plan, and a discussion of its planned targets to reduce the burden of stroke through improvement of care. Part 2 of this discussion can be found here.
